), will provide scheduled delivery service, inventory control and local stocking for SwapIt, the first consumer-focused product exchange marketplace on the Web for previously owned CDs, DVDs and games.

As SwapIt's logistics agent, CEDS will expedite the shipment of CDs between SwapIt's customer base and SwapIt's centralized product warehousing and fulfillment center. CEDS will also manage the inventory control and local stocking of SwapIt's proprietary packaging. Initially, the service will be contained within the metro Boston area and will be expanded nationally later this year. SwapIt will be expanding its swapping services to include DVDs and video games See video game console.  in June of 2000.
