Opal Telecom, the business division of British telco Carphone Warehouse (CPW (1) (Commercial Processing Workload) An IBM metric for system performance. UK Telco already has an existing wholesale relationship with Opal, and operates in a similar fashion, offering fixed and mobile services to independent resellers. The deal follows two similar acquisitions by Opal over the course of the last year, with the CPW unit having bought fixed line and VoIP companies The Airtime air·time
