United Expands Service to Central America From Its Hub At Los Angeles International Airport.

The LAX-SAL service will be flown using Airbus 320 aircraft configured for two classes of service with United's popular Economy Plus product. United currently flies between Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  and San Salvador, Monday through Friday.

The LAX-GUA weekend service will be flown using Boeing 757 aircraft, configured with 24 seats in United First and 158 seats in United Economy. United currently operates daily flights between Los Angeles and Guatemala City with continuing service to San Jose, Costa Rica.

"We're proud to offer our customers additional travel opportunities to Central America during the upcoming holiday season."
