United Engineering Constructors and sugar industry.

A group of professional engineers headed by Engineer Chauhdry Muhammad Aslam ventured with the aim of providing reliability and excellence in the field of industrial instrumentation and controls. Backed by experienced and technical competence, United Engineering Constructors (Pvt) Ltd. started in 1981 as an engineering establishment. Though having completed successfully diverse assignments, they have now given top priority to the sugar Industry in Pakistan.

Keeping in view the prevailing conditions of indigenous industry, a new strategic formula of SECOM (Supply Erect, Commission and Maintenance) was evolved by them. This is how they specify SECOM.

Supply: UEC represents the most reliable and famous manufacturers, such as Yokogawa Japan, Copes Vulcan, UK, Valtek USA, Tomoe Japan, etc. So, buying any equipment from UEC ensures that every item shall be money worth.

Erection: The first class quality equipment can also fail if not erected as per standard. UEC have paid a very special emphasis on this aspect and are fully equipped with a team of qualified and experienced engineers, who have been trained at manufacturer's works to carry out the job of installation as per recommended and approved standards of the industry.

Commissioning: This includes calibration and dry checking of the instrumentation system which plays a significant role to ensure that nothing goes wrong when plant goes into operation. UEC have a battery of qualified technicians to do the testing and help the process engineers for the smooth commissioning of the plant.

Maintenance: Even a Rolls Royce can break down if not maintained properly. UEC have complete back-up to provide on-call service for the maintenance of the equipment. The maintenance record is updated for each client and all essential spare parts are regularly maintained to ensure minimum down time at the plant.

The list of the projects completed is a proof of the success of the SECOM formula. UEC's affiliation with the sugar industry have resulted in long term ties with the customers and Sugar Plant Manufacturers. UEC are very proud of the patronage from M/s.
