 (Bedford, MA) unit, has acquired EU Consulting (Munich) a tissue paper product news, analysis, forecasting and consulting business serving the tissue, recovered paper and consumer packaging industries, for 375,000 [euro] from company founder/owner Esko Uutela.

The purchase adds EU Consulting's publications "World Tissue Business Monitor," a quarterly information service, and "Outlook for the World Tissue Business" and "Outlook for Global Recovered Paper Markets," irregularly published reports, to RISI's existing portfolio of tissue industry products.

In related news, UBM has invested $2 million in eXalt Solutions, Inc. (Lowell, MA) in exchange for a 25% equity stake in the company and an option to purchase an additional 15%.
