Unisys to Deliver Information Security Management Services at Air France KLM; Services Designed to Strengthen Overall Information Security Program.

BLUE BELL, Pa. -- Air France KLM Group has signed an agreement with Unisys (NYSE:UIS) to leverage their experience in risk and compliance management in the airline's effort to strengthen its overall information security posture. Based on the agreement, Unisys will help Air France KLM fortify its Information Security Maturity Program by assisting in the identification of information security issues such as access control to buildings and data and a range of other issues.

Air France KLM will use a Unisys standards-based methodology and associated capability and tools to prioritize those security issues based on their perceived risk. This will assist KLM in modeling and prioritizing investments in information security on an ongoing basis via a security risk dashboard. As a result, the airline will also be able to gain more visibility into its information security management practices, which can lead to more efficient and effective deployment and use of security assets.

"The goal of the Information Security Maturity Program is to further expand our information security process within the Air France KLM Group; ensuring regulatory and business needs are well balanced between security, risk and cost levels," says Gert Mooij, program manager for Air France KLM Group. Unisys will implement its methodology and tools during a pilot program. They will also train Air France KLM IT security staff, implement the tools, assess and analyze possible business risks, and evaluate responses.
