Under the first task order, valued at approximately $11 million, Unisys will manage the delivery and installation of technology, as well as the implementation of processes, for CIFA's technology infrastructure. CIFA has advised Unisys that it estimates that the Defense Department may order up to a total of $345 million of products and services under this blanket task order over the five-year term.

The blanket task order was awarded to Unisys under the ENCORE contract vehicle. ENCORE is a government-wide acquisition contract program designed to support the global integration efforts of the U.S. Department of Defense, other federal agencies and state and local governments. Unisys is one of nine companies qualified to bid on contracts under ENCORE.

"This award underscores the breadth and depth of our technology and services, and highlights our ability to help clients see across organizational and technological boundaries."

CIFA's mission is to develop a system that integrates all counterintelligence activities of the U.S. military services, defense agencies, joint staff and combatant commands.

The new technology and processes under the first task order will provide data processing and storage resources, systems consolidation, e-government technology and methods, communications systems integration and strategic planning capabilities. Unisys also will provide engineering and implementation support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services , including technical planning, technology assessment services, architectural assessment, systems design and implementation, just-in-time delivery and staging and configuration services.
