Unisys Worldwide Information Services announces appointment of new principals.

BLUE BELL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 21, 1994--In one of the largest services management building efforts in the industry, Unisys Monday announced the appointment of forty-six additional principals to the ranks of Worldwide Information Services (WWIS).

As the equivalent to partners in traditional consulting firms, these principals will be responsible for scoping, pricing, and delivering all services to major clients.

While familiar with all service lines, the principals are normally expert in one service such as information planning, systems integration, business process redesign, outsourcing or solution services.

Of the 46 individuals, 10 were current Unisys employees who passed the rigorous WWIS certification qualifications for principals. The others were recruited from a variety of organizations outside Unisys including Andersen Consulting, Coopers & Lybrand, SHL Systemhouse, and Digital.

Unisys now has a total of 153 principals in operating practices in 33 countries worldwide.
