Union State opens Eastchester branch.

Continuing the expansion of its regional branch network, Union State Bank, the fastest growing commercial bank in New York State, recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest banking office in Eastchester.

Senior executives of Union State Bank joined with local officials on June 27th for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house at the new full-service banking office at 313 Main St. in Eastchester. The 2,520-SF branch, which is located in a stand-alone building that was once the branch of another bank, has been completely renovated and redesigned.

It is Union State Bank's 11th banking office in Westchester County and 28th in the Hudson Valley region. In addition to the June 27 ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house, Union State Bank held a community celebration event at the new location on June 28 from 9 am to 1 pm.

Festivities included free food, a raffle for Yankees and Mets tickets, as well as a chance to win a $1,000 donation to a local charity of your choice. WFAN radio did a live remote broadcast from the event with sportscaster Sid Rosenberg.

The opening of the new Eastchester location follows a recent expansion by Union State Bank in southern Westchester County. Last year, Union State Bank opened one new branch and acquired another in the City of Yonkers, Westchester's largest city and fourth largest city in the state.

The two Yonkers branches--located at 2500 Central Park Ave. and 1779 Central Park Ave.--provide Union State Bank with high visibility on one of the area's busiest thoroughfares. In addition to expanding in Westchester, last month Union State Bank made its first entry into the Orange County market with the opening of a full-service banking office in downtown Goshen, NY.
