Boyle joined Union State Bank in 1996 as a participant in the Bank's management associate program. In 2001, Boyle was transferred to the human resources department as a human resources generalist. Boyle was certified as a Professional in Human Resources Professional in Human Resources (PHR) is an industry certification for people working in the human resources profession. The certification, awarded by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), signifies that individuals possess the theoretical knowledge and practical from the HR Certification Institute, Society of Human Resource Management in January 2005. In her new position, Boyle's responsibilities include employee benefits, compliance including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, administration of policies, procedures, employee records and appraisal/compensation processes. In September 2006 she received "Rockland's 40 under 40" award from the REDC REDC Radiochemical Engineering Development Center (ORNL) REDC Remote Equipment Decontamination Cell . In 2001 Boyle received an Employee Service Award for her commitment and dedication to the Bank.
