Union Square BID installs planting malls.


The Union Square LDC/BID announced the installation of new decorative planting malls. The new malls are located on Union Square East, from the north side of 15th St. to 17th St., and were made possible thanks to multi-modal See multimodal.  funds allocated by Assembly member Deborah Deborah (dĕb`ōrə), in the Bible, prophetess and judge of Israel, the only woman to hold that office. Under her guidance Barak conquered Sisera and delivered Israel from the oppression of the Canaanite King Jabin.  J. Glick.

Once the funding was secured, the new malls were constructed by the City of New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 Parks & Recreation Department as a part of the continued renovation of Union Square Park.

The LDC/BLD worked with the Parks Department and the Department of Transportation in a coordinated approach to ensure that the construction of the malls complied with the appropriate safety guidelines guidelines,

 and were done in a timely manner. Together with Assembly member Glick, the LDC/BID worked to make certain that the malls were an aesthetically pleasing addition to the neighborhood.

Executive director Karen H. Shaw and Glick recently visited the malls, which are lined with lush plantings and blooming A condition with older CCD devices that causes distortion at the pixel level. It occurs when the electrical charge created exceeds the storage capacity of the device and spills over into adjacent pixels. Newer CCDs incorporate anti-blooming circuitry to drain the excess charge. See CCD.  flowers. "Without Assembly member Glick's generous support, the mall construction would never have been possible," said Shaw.
