Cell phone company Unefon, also owned by Pliego, launched a new
long distance service, through its cell phones, touting touting
the making of personal representations by a veterinarian to persons who are not clients in an attempt to solicit their business. prices as much
as 77% below those of the competition. The company will charge its
clients 2 pesos per minute for domestic long distance calls and 3 pesos
per minute for calls to Canada and the United States The United States and Canada share a unique legal relationship. U.S. law looks northward with a mixture of optimism and cooperation, viewing Canada as an integral part of U.S. economic and environmental policy. .
