Cash registers have joined the ringing phones in cellular phone company Unefon's ears. With a 127% increase in investments over 2001 ,the 2002 investments brought 158,000 new users, boosting the total number of Unefon subscribers to 360,000. Their fourth quarter investments of 976.3 million pesos represented an increase of 18% over the previous three months.
