Underground Solutions Receives the Prestigious NASTT ``Innovative Product of the Year'' Award; Fusible PVC Picked from Over a Dozen Innovative Product Nominees.

Underground Solutions, Inc. (Pink Sheets:UGSI) announced today that it has received the "Innovative Product of the Year Award" for its Fusible PVC(TM) from the North American Society for Trenchless Technology.

Each year, NASTT recognizes the company that has the year's most innovative product. Underground Solutions received the NASTT Innovative Product Award at the 2004 No-Dig Show in New Orleans for its Fusible PVC(TM) pipe. The market for this product in trenchless includes directional drilling, sliplining, and pipe bursting. More than a dozen companies submitted applications in 2004, which suggests that this year's recipients were in an extremely competitive arena. As the Rehabilitation winner, Underground Solutions was formally recognized at the NASTT No-Dig Show Gala Awards Dinner on March 23, 2004. In addition, they will be recognized on the official website for NASTT, as well as coverage in Trenchless Technology magazine, and a free exhibit booth space at No-Dig 2005."

NASTT is the North American Society for Trenchless Technology. It is a multiple disciplinary society of individuals and organizations with professional, utilitarian or environmental interests in Trenchless Technology. It was founded and incorporated as a non-profit organization in June 1990. It is affiliated with the International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT) and shares the same basic concerns for the environmental and social costs of utilities trenching.
