Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges.

A six-page bulletin covers Krautkramer's DM4 and DM4 DL handheld ultrasonic thickness gauges that can measure through coatings. With this measurement, the coating (paint) layer thickness is not included in the digital thickness reading of the gauge. The two models are easy-to-use, lightweight (9 oz) and fit in the palm of the hand. The DM4 DL model has an on-board data logger for fast, accurate recording and reporting of over 5000 readings. Automatic Probe Zero is a feature for fast calibration and simple use. It is continuously updated during use to ensure reliable measurements by compensating for probe wear, expansion or contraction. Action is not required by the user, and probe zero blocks are eliminated. Standard AA alkaline batteries provide up to 200 hr of use, and the big digits on a highcontrast backlit display are easily read from any angle under all lighting conditions.--Krautkramer Branson, Inc.
