UXB opens in Istanbul. (Digest).

UXB International, a US-based explosive ordnance disposal company, has expanded its services by opening an office in Istanbul, Turkey to facilitate Middle East programmes. "The office is to support operational and management activities involving the location and safe elimination of conventional weapons and those of mass destruction", mentioned Michael Robinson, UXB's Middle East Regional Director. UXB's services involve the disposal of unexploded ordnance, nuclear, biological and chemical warfare materials, landmines, reactives and energetics, and ammunition, explosives and dangerous articles. The company currently has three other subsidiaries: UXB Africa, the Balkans and Asia.
