UV/EB technology exhibition and conference coming in April: answer all your questions about ultraviolet and electron beam curing technology at RadTech 2002. (Finishing Newsfront).RadTech 2002, the largest conference and exhibition devoted to ultraviolet and electron beam curing, will be held April 28 through May 1 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN. In addition, Tuesday, April 30, will feature a full day of wood-related seminars, co-sponsored by Wood & Wood Products. RadTech 2002 is sponsored by Radtech International North America. The exhibition will include more than 100 companies encompassing more than 88,000 square feet. In addition, show floor demonstrations will offer first-hand experience with UV/EB technology. The exhibition hail will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 29-30, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 1. Admission to the exhibition is $15 if postmarked by April 1, or $35 on-site. No one under 18 will be admitted. Other Seminars and Sessions Available RadTech will feature seminars every day from April 28 through May 1. One highlight is the Wood End User Conference, which is detailed on page 69. Other End User Conferences, similar to the Wood program, will focus on adhesives, powder coating, graphic arts, automotive and electron beam. In addition, there will be 17 technical sessions and three pre-conference sessions on a variety of topics. On April 29 at 10:00 a.m., RadTech will kick off with its keynote speakers: Llewellyn King of the King Publishing Group, speaking on how technology advances in the 19th and 20th centuries have paved the way for future developments, and Dr. Godwin Berner of Ciba Specialty Chemicals Inc., who will discuss innovative approaches being taken to enhance the market for UV/EB technology.
