UTAH SHALE COMPLETES MERGER AND NAME CHANGE TO GEOWASTE INCORPORATED;
 OPENS LANDFILL IN VALDOSTA, GA.
 BOSTON, Nov. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Utah Shale Land & Minerals Corporation (NASDAQ: UTAH) announced that, in a special meeting held today, the company's stockholders approved the proposed charter amendments under consideration. The amendments were necessary to complete the company's recent merger and included a change in the name of the company to GeoWaste Incorporated. Effective tomorrow, the company's stock will trade on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol GEOW. GeoWaste was created in August 1991 in a merger with Utah Shale, combined with a $5.5 million private placement, to purchase a "greenfield" landfill site and waste hauling company in Valdosta, Ga.
 The company also announced that its has completed construction and certification of the Valdosta landfill and began accepting waste on Nov. 5, 1991. The landfill, to be known as Pecan Row, is a modern sanitary landfill having at least 1.7 million tons of disposal capacity, with the potential for additional capacity expansion. It is the only commercial site in Southern Georgia permitted, engineered and constructed to meet or exceed the new Federal Subtitle D environmental standards.
 GeoWaste is now making its services available to the many municipal and industrial waste collectors and generators within its region. The company is also actively pursuing other landfill and waste collection company acquisition candidates in the Eastern United States.
