USWA: BOSTON GAS WORKERS ON COMPANY RATE INCREASE REQUEST

BRAINTREE, Mass., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to Boston Gas Company's request for a rate increase, Boston Gas Workers Union, Local 12003, United Steelworkers of America (USWA), President Paul Hannon said, "At a time when Boston Gas has shown an utter disregard for public safety by locking out some 1,100 skilled workers, they have a lot of nerve asking for a rate increase."
Hannon continued, "The union will be there in full force at the public hearing to express its opinion on the rate increase."
