"The company's OTCBB listing should provide us with greater access to capital and a wider audience for our securities", says J. Erik Mustad, Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of UVT, "This listing is the next step in our ever progressing acquisition and organic growth strategy in the California market, particularly with respect to the deployment of Digital Subscriber Line See DSL.

USVT's California based certified Competitive Local Exchange Carrier ("CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier) An organization offering local telephone service that is not one of the traditional telephone companies. The Telecommunications Act of 1996 allowed competition to the incumbent telcos (ILECs), enabling new companies (CLECs) ") and telecommunications resale subsidiary sells voice and data services through interconnect companies. "Interconnect companies are the perfect distribution channel for bundled services delivered via DSL", states Mustad, "The reality of DSL deployment is that it requires an equipment installation visit to the customer premises. Interconnect companies maintain fleets of trained technicians capable of making these installations. This makes our distribution channel exceptionally valuable as it is the only marketing channel capable of both selling the DSL bundle as well as installing the necessary equipment on our behalf". He continues, "Our interconnect distributors represent an instantly available, California state wide, truck and technician fleet at little or no cost to us. We believe that interconnect companies will quickly embrace the revenue opportunity we will provide them in the DSL bundled product and at the same time highly value the opportunity to maximize their return on the fixed costs of their trucks and technicians".

The company has been under discussion with both Redback Networks (NASDAQ:RBAK RBAK Redback Networks Inc. (stock abbreviation, AMEX)

) and German based Siemens AG's (OTCBB: SMAWY) partially owned Accelerated Networks about the purchase of DSL networking equipment. Siemens AG has developed financing programs for the purchase of Accelerated Networks' DSL solutions. "We think the new listing will help us to bring in additional investment capital which in conjunction with equipment financing should allow us the necessary financial firepower to capture market share for DSL services in California." says Mustad, "In addition it will make us more attractive to possible acquisition targets such as our interconnect distributors, ISP's and other telecommunications resellers".
