The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis in the United States.

) gave sums totaling more than $67,400 in grants to communities in need of facility repairs or renovations in the first round of Tennis In the Parks: Public Facility Funding program.

USTA has partnered with NRPA NRPA National Recreation and Park Association
NRPA Natural Resources Protective Association (Staten Island, NY)
NRPA Niagara Regional Police Association (Canada)
NRPA National Rifle and Pistol Association
 to develop the Tennis In the Parks initiative to support local park and recreation agencies eager to increase tennis participation by improving the quality of their community tennis programs and facilities. Below is a list of the first round of grant recipients:

Veterans Memorial Park, Chincoteague Island, Va.

South Tahoe Middle School Tennis Courts, South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Ebenezer Park Tennis Courts, Florence, Calif.

Jacobs Park, Yucca Valley, Calif.

City of Waukesha--Prairie Park Regional Tennis Center, Waukesha, Wis.

Novato High School Novato High School (NHS) is a high school located in Novato, Marin County, California. Built in 1955, it is one of two comprehensive high schools in the Novato Unified School District.
