USTA Awards community grants.

After reviewing 75 applications, the United States Tennis Association (USTA) gave sums totaling more than $67,400 in grants to communities in need of facility repairs or renovations in the first round of Tennis In the Parks: Public Facility Funding program.

USTA has partnered with NRPA to develop the Tennis In the Parks initiative to support local park and recreation agencies eager to increase tennis participation by improving the quality of their community tennis programs and facilities. Below is a list of the first round of grant recipients:
