Lance Wright has been elected senior vice president human resources and administration by the USEC Board of Directors. As a senior vice president, Wright will join the senior management team and report directly to James R. Mellor, chairman and chief executive officer. In announcing the promotion, Mellor said, "Lance has been highly valued as head of our vital human resources function. As a member of our senior management team, Lance will have an important role in helping to move us forward with our new American Centrifuge centrifuge (sĕn`trəfy j), device using centrifugal force to separate two or more substances of different density, e.g., two liquids or a liquid and a solid. production efforts and in seeking and implementing growth opportunities."
