USCS on track for opening PRW to better serve Midwestern USA.

) plans to open its latest Midwest project, a major warehouse and distribution center in Wilmington, Illinois Wilmington is the name of two places in the U.S. state of Illinois:

"With the addition of a new warehouse in Wilmington, we are greatly expanding our ability to provide customers with access to markets throughout the Midwest by serving as a hub for their specialized distribution requirements," said Diane Stewart, vice president-area manager for the Voorhees, New Jersey-headquartered company's Midwest facilities.

Phase One of the development consists of a 5.7 million cubic foot facility with a 65-foot wide refrigerated re·frig·er·ate

 shipping and receiving dock that is accessed by 22 dock doors for truck activity. The warehouse will be fully racked with 16,700 pallet positions, and has been specially designed with separated storage space engineered to maintain temperatures from -20[degrees]F to +55[degrees]F. The Wilmington facility is situated just off I-55 at 800 Kankakee River The Kankakee River is a tributary of the Illinois River, approximately 90 mi (144 km) long, in northwestern Indiana and northeastern Illinois in the United States. At one time the river drained one of the largest wetlands in North America and furnished a significant portage  Drive.
