USC (9-9, 4-5) update: After defeating UCLA last week, USC coach Henry Bibby likes his new starting lineup that includes small forward Nick Curtis and shooting guard Lodrick Stewart, with shooting guard Errick Craven coming off the bench. This will be another big game for twin guards Lodrick and Rodrick Stewart, who are from Seattle. ``They weren't really recruited by Washington until Lorenzo Romar got there,'' Bibby said. ``I think that offended them.''

Washington (9-8, 4-5) update: The Huskies started off losing their first five games but are 4-0 since, largely because of point guard Nate Robinson, who scored a career-high 31 points in an upset of then-No. 9 Arizona last week.

PEPPERDINE at GONZAGA

Pepperdine (9-13, 4-3 WCC) update: The Waves have lost five games in a row to Gonzaga, including 87-70 on Jan. 8. Junior forward Yakhouba Diawara, who missed the first 17 games in an NCAA eligibility dispute, will match up against Ronny Turiaf, his former teammate on the French junior national team. The Waves are coming off an ugly 81-69 loss to San Francisco on Saturday and will likely prompt coach Paul Westphal to change his starting lineup.

Gonzaga (17-2, 7-0) update: The No. 8 Bulldogs have won 10 consecutive games and are heavily favored to finish undefeated in West Coast Conference play. Gonzaga's only two losses have come to St. Joseph's and Stanford - the two remaining undefeated teams in Division I.

CSUN at LONG BEACH STATE

CSUN (7-10, 3-6) update: CSUN is 1-8 on the road and has lost four of its past five overall. Ian Boylan led the team in scoring in back-to-back games - a first for the Matadors this season - with a combined 47 points. CSUN guard Joseph Frazier, suspended from games for the remainder of the season, returned to practice Tuesday.

Long Beach State (6-12, 4-5) update: The 49ers snapped a road losing streak at 21 games with a victory at Idaho last week but followed with an 84-46 blowout loss to Utah State on Saturday.
