CSUN (7-10, 3-6) update: CSUN is 1-8 on the road and has lost four of its past five overall. Ian Boylan led the team in scoring in back-to-back games - a first for the Matadors this season - with a combined 47 points. CSUN guard Joseph Frazier, suspended from games for the remainder of the season, returned to practice Tuesday.

Long Beach State (6-12, 4-5) update: The 49ers snapped a road losing streak at 21 games with a victory at Idaho last week but followed with an 84-46 blowout loss to Utah State on Saturday.
