USAIR CONTINUES TO EXPAND SERVICE TO FLORIDA,
INCLUDING NEW NONSTOP TO FORT MYERS
ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- USAir will offer the only nonstop service between Washington National Airport and Fort Myers, Fla., and will expand its service to Miami and West Palm Beach from the nation's capital beginning Nov. 1.
"USAir recognizes the need to increase service to Florida especially during the peak season," said David Low, USAir's district sales manager in Washington. "These new flights will provide added customer convenience and give USAir the opportunity to generate additional revenue."
Operated with Boeing 737 equipment, the new nonstop flight to Fort Myers will depart National Airport at 9:20 a.m. and arrive at 12:02 p.m. The return flight will depart Fort Myers at 11:25 a.m. and arrive here at 1:45 p.m.
USAir will increase nonstop service from National Airport to Miami from one to two daily flights, and to West Palm Beach from one to two daily flights.
