 USA TODAY ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS
 WASHINGTON, July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- USA TODAY announced today two


executive appointments.
 -- Keith A. Cutler, USA TODAY director/sports and event marketing, will take on the additional title of publisher of USA TODAY Baseball Weekly and be responsible for Baseball Weekly's advertising.
 -- Antoinette (Toni) B. Miller, formerly vice president/finance, has been named vice president/business operations and will join the USA TODAY Management Committee.
 "Keith will keep Baseball Weekly on the winning track as ad pages and circulation continue to increase," said USA TODAY President and Publisher Tom Curley. "Toni's management expertise will be extended to all USA TODAY departments as she joins the newspapers Management Committee."
 Thomas J. Farrell, formerly executive vice president and general mal corporate programs as president of the Gannett New Media Group. Farrell will be responsible for Gannett New Business and Product Development, USA TODAY Sports Center, USA TODAY Information Center and USA TODAY Sky Radio.
 Cutler has been regional director of sports marketing for the Miller Sports Group/Rogers Merchandising, Inc. (1984-1986) and USA TODAY manager/sports marketing (1987-1990). He was named director/sports marketing in 1990 and director/sports and event marketing in 1991.
 Miller has been a senior business analyst at Xerox Corp. (1976- 1982), director/budgeting and financial analysis for U.S. News & World Report (1982-1987) and vice president/corporate advertising for Roll Call (1987-1988). She came to USA TODAY in 1988 as director/finance and was named vice president/finance in 1989.
 Baseball Weekly, launched April 5, 1991, has a current circulation of 280,000. It is printed at 18 printing sites across the United States and has a cover price of $1.
 USA TODAY, with nearly 6.6 million daily readers, is the United States' only national, daily, general-interest newspaper. It is printed at 32 printing locations across the country and is available nationwide. USA TODAY's International Edition is printed in Europe and Asia and is available worldwide.
