US-Taiwan Business Council Announces Speakers for Taiwan + China Semiconductor Outlook 2006.


SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The US-Taiwan Business Council The US-Taiwan Business Council (Traditional Chinese: 美台商業協會; Pinyin: Měi Tái Shāng Yè Xíe Hùi) is a membership-based, non-profit organization founded in 1976 to foster trade and business relations between the United States and  today announced the speakers for Taiwan + China Semiconductor Outlook 2006. This half-day conference, scheduled for January 12, 2006 in Santa Clara, California Santa Clara, California (IPA: /ˌsæntəˈklærə/) , founded in 1777 and incorporated in 1852, is a city in Santa Clara County, in the U.S. state of California. , is the third in a series of events focusing on the challenges and opportunities presented by the increasing integration of the U.S., Taiwan, and China semiconductor markets.

The Outlook 2006 conference will feature keynote addresses by:

Outlook 2006 provides an opportunity for the technology industry to hear high-level government and industry perspectives on the future course of business in the Taiwan and China markets. The conference promotes dialogue between the industry and policymaking communities on a number of issues, including intellectual property rights (IPR) protection, technology security, industry competitiveness, export controls, and supply chain integration. In addition, the event focuses on how cooperation between the U.S., Taiwan, and China can be beneficial to the future growth and development of the semiconductor industry.
