US Oncology Presents Third Annual Cancer Medal of Honor Awards; Members of Congress Honored for Efforts in the War On Cancer.

Recognizing their ongoing commitment to the war on cancer, US Oncology (Nasdaq:USON) today presented its annual Medal of Honor Medal of Honor

 Awards to leaders who have made a significant difference in the cancer-care community.

The award is given annually by US Oncology to elected officials whose efforts in the war on cancer have been extraordinarily supportive of America's community-based cancer-care delivery system and the patients and families who depend on it.

"The efforts of these individuals on behalf of community-based cancer caregivers made a real difference in the lives of all patients with cancer," said Dr. Lloyd K. Everson, vice chairman of US Oncology. "They are with us, with cancer patients and with their families on the front lines in the war on cancer, and we are honored to recognize them with our Medal of Honor."
