US$40 MILLION CRICKET DEAL.

West Indies Cricket Board The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) is the governing body for professional and amateur cricket in the West Indies (a sporting confederation of over a dozen mainly English-speaking Caribbean countries and dependencies that formed the British West Indies).  (WICB WICB West Indies Cricket Board ) officials, in London, have signed the biggest deal in the history of regional cricket, reports CANA Cana (kā`nə), ancient town of Galilee. According to the Gospel of St. John it was here that Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water into wine at a wedding.

The WICB entered into an exclusive US$40 million contract with British Sky Broadcasting British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB — formerly two companies, Sky Television and BSB) is a company that operates Sky Digital, a subscription television service in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. It produces TV content, and owns several TV channels.  (BskyB) to manage its worldwide broadcast and Internet rights from 2004 to 2008. The deal guarantees the WICB a net benefit of US$25 million and will provide revenue for various ventures including the development of cricket in the Caribbean and the live broadcast of home series throughout the region.
