Under the terms of the contract, as task orders are issued, the EG&G Division will provide programmatic, engineering and technical services for system integration, warfare and systems analysis, affordability and cost analysis, modeling and simulation, computer program development and modification, data management, test and evaluation, electronic documentation and general support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  for system integration on existing and future ships.

The five-year contract has a maximum value to URS of $163 million and is the final portion of a three-part re-competition that follows an existing EG&G Division contract with the U.S. Navy. The first portion -- a five-year, $75 million Detect/Engage Technical Engineering Support Program contract -- was previously awarded and announced by URS in August 2003. The second portion -- a five-year, $117 million Command and Control Systems Support Program contract -- also was previously awarded and announced by URS in October 2003.

Commenting on the contract win, Martin M.
