URS Awarded Air Force Contract to Provide Support Services for C-26 Aircraft.

SAN FRANCISCO -- URS Corporation (NYSE: URS) today announced that its EG&G Division has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force to provide Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the C-26B Aircraft for the Army National Guard and the RC-26B for the Air National Guard. The contract has an initial six-month base period, followed by nine, one-year option periods. Assuming all option years are exercised, the maximum value of the contract to URS is $148 million.

Under the terms of the contract, EG&G will provide maintenance and repair services for 11 Air National Guard and 11 Army National Guard C-26 aircraft, including support services for aircraft intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems. The work will be performed at 20 sites in the United States.
