The Antelope Valley
 Youth Challenge Collaborative's Summit Explosion is a chance for young people to learn survival skills and access resources in the community, organizers said.

The all-day conference Saturday at Antelope Valley College Antelope Valley College is a comprehensive community college located in Lancaster, California, USA. It is operated by the Antelope Valley Community College District, with a primary service area of 1,945 square miles covering portions of Los Angeles and Kern counties.  featured workshops presented by representatives of community agencies on topics including life skills, college preparation, education and employment. Youth leaders led evening discussion sessions.

In addition, the summit featured a youth fashion show, entertainment and talent showcase organized by the participants.
