The aerobic sport of brisk, rhythmic, vigorous walking, intended to improve cardiovascular efficiency, strengthen the heart, control weight gain, and reduce stress.
 Group is a free ``go at your own pace'' walking group, 9 to 10 a.m. every Friday, Community Medical Group, 3605 Alamo St., Suite 100, Simi Valley. Socialization and refreshments follow the walk. For more information, call (818) 706-2211, Ext. 250.

Old Kranks' Bicycle Club, for ages 50 and older to enjoy fun and exercise, conducts weekly rides 9 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and Sundays, starting from Agoura Road (across from Coco's Restaurant, 2809 Agoura Road) in Westlake Village. Monday and Wednesday rides are for beginners and Fridays are for intermediate and advanced riders. The club also sponsors monthly special Sunday outings.
