``Back to the Shtetl'' presents a Jewish music Jewish music, the music of Jews, is quite diverse and dates back thousands of years. Sometimes it is religious in nature, other times it is not. This is because Jews are both a religion and a nation. The music of Jews vary greatly depending on origins.  Hanukkah party 8:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at 18260 Karen Drive, Tarzana. The event features singers Anna Combs and Wardell Howard performing songs from Jewish musical theater. Admission is $15. Call (818) 887-6053.

The Sylmar Woman's Club is holding its boutique and luncheon Dec. 7 at the Odyssey restaurant, 15600 Odyssey Drive, Granada Hills. The boutique is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the luncheon is at noon. There will be raffles, baked goods, homemade home·made
