Morrow introduces modern women to shooting with tips on outdoor wear and tales of noble hunting dogs, advice on shotgun and rifle (but not handgun) selection, use and safety; and the basics of target shooting and hunting everything from birds to big game. Much of the shotgunning content is delegated to specialist Steve Smith. Sue King, a shotgunning instructor and director of the Women's Shooting Sports Foundation, also has a chapter.
