UO women get pair of commitments.

Two players - one from California and the other from Italy - are expected to sign national letters of intent with the Oregon women's basketball Women's basketball is one of the few games which developed in tandem with men's.  in Newhall, Calif., earlier verbally committed to the Ducks.

The 18-year-old Sbrissa, equipped with athleticism and reported to be a strong rebounder, recently graduated from high school and has playing experience at the club level in Italy.

Lilley, 17, is a senior at Hart and has the school record for three-pointers in a single season with 70. A former UO star, Sara Wilson (1990-94), also played her high school basketball at Hart.

Sbrissa and Lilley are expected to enroll at Oregon as freshmen in 2006-07.
