 led a balanced offense with 18 points and Concordia shot nearly 60 percent from the field while beating Northwest Christian College Northwest Christian College is a private, liberal arts college located in Eugene, Oregon and is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ.  93-70 on Tuesday night in a men's college basketball game.

The Beacons lost their regular-season opener 80-50 to Concordia on the Cavaliers' home floor.

Robin McMahon had 15 points to lead NCC, which had just a club team last season. Brittany Evans added 10 points, and Stacy Cordell had a team-high five rebounds.

Sammy Smith was 12-of-14 from the field to lead Concordia (2-0), which took a 40-17 halftime lead.
