UO men place 10th in tourney.

LA QUINTA, Calif. - Oregon freshman Joey Benedetti shot a 1-over-par 73 in the final round to finish tied for 10th place at The Prestige men's golf tournament Tuesday.

Benedetti finished at 11-over 227 in the 16-team, 54-hole event, 10 strokes behind medalist Erik Hill of UC Davis.

Oregon shot a 20-over 308 in the final round for its best score of the tournament and finished tied for 10th place with Notre Dame Notre Dame IPA: [nɔtʁ dam] is French for Our Lady, referring to the Virgin Mary. In the United States of America, Notre Dame  at 934.

OSU teammates Brad Simpson, who shot his second straight 72, and Mitch Gillis, who had a second-round 70, were tied for 17th.
