 The U.S.-Canada Automotive Select Panel will announce recommended actions regarding competitiveness of the North American automotive industry.

 Panel; chairman of the Blackstone Group

 Subcommittee; chairman and CEO of TRW Inc.
 This joint study by government, industry and academic experts is the only officially sanctioned report on the competitiveness of the North American automotive industry.
 It was commissioned by:
 The U.S. Department of Commerce
 The U.S. Trade Representative
 The Canadian Ministry of International Trade
