UNITED GAS PIPE LINE AND UNITED GAS SERVICES ANNOUNCE NEW MANAGEMENT TEAMS FOLLOWING ACQUISITION BY KOCH INDUSTRIES

 WICHITA, Kan., Nov. 16 ~PRNewswire~ -- Chris McCampbell, president of Koch Hydrocarbon, a division of Koch Industries Inc., announced the following changes in the management of United Gas Pipe Line Co. (UGPL) and United Gas Services Co. (UGS):
 Michael R. (Mike) Onderick, vice president of Koch Hydrocarbon, will continue to be responsible for all of Koch's natural gas activities, including UGPL and UGS.
 Rolf A. Gafvert has been appointed senior vice president and general manager of UGPL responsible for overall management of the system. Among those managers reporting to Gafvert are Jake Hiatt, vice president of Rates; Dennis Kunetka, vice president of Customer Service; and Debbie Wernet, vice president of Business Development. The Transportation and Exchange (T&E) group has been reorganized along customer lines with the following vice presidents also reporting to Gafvert: Chris Fischer, responsible for Local Distribution Companies; Jay Sallinger, Industrial Markets and Power Generation; Boyd Cherry, Producers and Marketing Companies; and Steve Green, Offsystem Markets and Storage Service. The Business Development group will be headed by senior vice president, Al Williams.
 UGS and Koch's gas marketing company, Kogas, are in the process of being consolidated. The joint entities will be managed by John Boone, appointed senior vice president and general manager of UGS. Reporting to Boone are Fred Muck, senior vice president of marketing; Robert White, senior vice president of business development; and Troy Reusser, manager of storage and trading. The marketing group reporting to Muck includes vice president of supply, John Carmody and vice president of marketing, Joe Blount.
 Koch Industries is the second largest privately held company in the United States. It is involved in virtually all phases of the oil and gas industry, as well as in chemicals, chemical technology products, hard minerals, agriculture, real estate and financial investments.
