UNITED AMERICAN HEALTHCARE: WINS WINDOWS WORLD OPEN AWARD WITH NEW, COST-CUTTING SOFTWARE

 DETROIT, June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- United American Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: UAH) today announced its client/server Relay 1.0 custom software was rated No. 1 in the Insurance/Real Estate Division of the Windows(TM) World Open, co-sponsored by Microsoft Corporation and Computerworld.
 The proprietary software is estimated to substantially reduce operating expenses. It was developed to improve communication between United American's data base of HMO enrollee information and the HMO's health care providers. Personal computers located in 25 provider centers can now be used to instantly access a member's medical and benefit data.
 "We have been using this software for our Detroit-based client, OmniCare, for about three months," said Julius V. Combs, M.D., chairman. "We expect to implement the software with Cleveland-based Personal Physician Care in the near future, and we can continue the efficiencies as our agreements in New York and Washington, D.C. develop. We appreciate the recognition for the innovation and development within United American."
 The high-impact, visual application has met with a positive reception from users. There were 1,300 entries in the competition, with 24 finalists in eight industry groups.
 United American Healthcare Corp. is a health care management company. UAH provides a full range of services to two health maintenance organizations -- OmniCare Health Plan based in southeast Michigan and Personal Physician Care of Ohio, based in Cleveland. UAH also manages TPA and preferred provider organization business. The company has recently announced health management initiatives located in New York City and Washington, D.C., both in partnership with entities based in those cities.
