      UNITED'S MACHINISTS UNION RATIFIES NEW LABOR CONTRACT
    CHICAGO, Dec. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has ratified a new comprehensive labor agreement with United Airlines.  The new contract is effective immediately and continues to December 1994.
    In 1991, all three of United's unions -- the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA), the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA) and the IAM -- entered into new, long-term labor agreements with the airline.
