UNICCO to Provide Integrated Facilities Services to The Boston Conservatory.

BOSTON -- UNICCO(R) Service Company, one of North America's largest integrated facilities services outsourcing companies, has been selected by The Boston Conservatory to provide integrated facilities services.

Under the three-year, renewable contract, UNICCO is responsible for all facets of campus cleaning and maintenance, including janitorial services, maintenance, landscaping, energy management, construction support and subcontract management. UNICCO will be introducing green clean chemicals and procedures through its UNICCO GreenClean(sm) program.

UNICCO is also implementing innovative campus-wide mechanical maintenance programs by introducing preventive maintenance technologies and techniques that will be administered by the company's mobile support team. By utilizing UNICCO's mobile maintenance team who will perform periodic maintenance, The Boston Conservatory will have access to highly trained and licensed mechanics. Another benefit is that UNICCO's local support will be on short-call notice to respond to any maintenance needs at any time.

UNICCO provides facilities services to a number of organizations in the Fenway and Longwood medical area, including The Forsyth Institute, a large educational research institution, Simmons College, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Mass College of Art and New England Baptist Hospital. Adding the Conservatory to the portfolio enables UNICCO to create an even larger resource pool of talented and qualified trades personnel who have experience working in these types of facilities.
