UNIAX Corp. appoints Tim Halsey chief financial officer.


SANTA BARBARA Santa Barbara (săn'tə bär`brə, –bərə), city (1990 pop. 85,571), seat of Santa Barbara co., S Calif., on the Pacific Ocean; inc. 1850. , Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 1995--UNIAX Corp., the leading developer of conducting polymer devices, Monday announced that Timothy C. Halsey has been appointed to the position of chief financial officer.

Halsey will be responsible for the capital formation and management process, as well as directing the company's finance and administration group.

Previously, Halsey was treasurer and controller of Superconductor A material that has little resistance to the flow of electricity. Traditional superconductors operate at absolute zero (-459.67 degrees Fahrenheit or -273.15 degrees Celsius). Experiments in the 1980s raised the temperature to -321 degrees Fahrenheit.  Technologies Inc.
