ULTRA CLEAN TECHNOLOGY APPOINTS PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER

MENLO PARK, Calif., Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Ultra Clean Technology today announced the promotion of Jean L. Tucker to the position of public relations manager. Tucker, 26, assumes responsibility for all public relations and marketing communications efforts of Ultra Clean Technology, manufacturer of ultraclean gas panels used in semiconductor process equipment and cylinder cabinets, and ultraclean-grade components, such as valves, pipes and fittings used in building process equipment and facilities.
Ultraclean manufacturing techniques make it possible to create a contamination-free wafer processing environment at every step in the manufacturing flow, from the gas source to the wafer surface. This is particularly critical for sub-micron manufacturing and ultimately leads to a dramatic improvement in yields and manufacturing throughput when compared to conventional manufacturing techniques.
Tucker joined Ultra Clean Technology soon after it was incorporated, heading up efforts to establish the company's headquarters in Menlo Park and managing numerous marketing projects. Before joining Ultra Clean, Tucker worked in various positions in Japan, giving her practical insights into Japanese cultural and business practices, an invaluable asset to Ultra Clean Technology, which is currently involved in a "joint" transfer of technology between Japan and the United States. She holds a B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
"Jean has been a tremendous asset to Ultra Clean Technology since she joined the organization," stated Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing Peter M. Hauser. "I am confident that her proven track record coupled with her understanding of the technology will allow her to effectively communicate the company's mission and the benefits of our products to the semiconductor industry infrastructure."
