The school opened in 1904 on Manhattan's East Side and moved to a new building in Battery Park City in 1992. , Bronx Science, Murray Bergtraum and High School of Telecommunications. For the 2004-2005 academic year, over 20 classes of students have participated or are participating in UrbanPlan.
