The Linx printer has revolutionised the process of applying labels to the uneven cylindrical shape of cucumbers. In comparison to the label dispenser, the Linx 6200S system codes at precisely uniform intervals. Two lines of text containing a traceability code and a best before date are printed directly onto a plastic flow wrapper, which is then seamlessly applied to the cucumber portions. Coding 130 cucumber portions each minute, the Linx system has dramatically increased efficiency.
