It is home to the UCLA Bruins men's and women's basketball teams. The men's and women's volleyball teams also play here.

UC Santa Barbara (2-4) update: The struggling Gauchos are coming off a triple-overtime victory over San Diego State on Wednesday. They lost to UCLA last week by six points (83-77). Forward Mark Hull of Hoover High in Glendale averages a team-high 16 points and had 21 against San Diego State. Former Simi Valley star Branduinn Fullove is averaging 10.7 points and 29 minutes of action.

PEPPERDINE vs. SAN JOSE STATE

Pepperdine (4-2) update: The Waves (4-2) are coming off an 81-62 win at Long Beach State, ending a three-game road trip. This is a short stop before facing nationally-ranked USC at the Sports Arena on Thursday. Pepperdine, which has won 12 in a row at home, will again be without junior guard Craig Lewis (sprained ankle). He should be ready by Thursday.

San Jose State (4-2) update: The Spartans got a game-high 15 points from senior guard Mike Garrett in an 80-41 win Wednesday against Warner Pacific.
