UCLA FOOTBALL UPDATE: MEDLOCK PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO DUI CHARGES.

 kicker Justin Medlock Justin Charles "J-Med" Medlock Born October 23, 1983 in Fremont, California is a free agent American football kicker. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs and played only one regular season game for the team.  pleaded not guilty Tuesday to drunk driving charges in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  Superior Court in Inglewood.

Medlock will appear in court again on Feb. 10, when a date for a preliminary hearing will be set.

, Medlock's attorney. ``We'll do some more investigation. He's charged with two felonies but when I look at all of the circumstances, I don't see erroneous conduct on behalf of the young man. He's never been in trouble before and he's a good kid in everyone's opinion. Seldom do you get that.''

Medlock was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury and driving with .08 percent blood alcohol causing injury. Grimes said court documents have a blood alcohol level of .09.

Medlock was charged on Friday, the day his teammates played Northwestern in the Sun Bowl. He was suspended indefinitely and did not play in the Sun Bowl.
