He was an All-American out of the University of Colorado and was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the 2nd round of the left to join the staff of the Minnesota Vikings last month. Bruins coach Karl Dorrell could fill Embree's position with assistant Brian Schneider, who spent the past three seasons coaching special teams and on defense. Before joining UCLA's staff three years ago, Schneider spent six seasons coaching tight ends and coordinating the special teams at Colorado State. Embree interviewed for the Chiefs job two weeks ago, but the deal was not finalized until recently.
